07:00: Board my train for Bristol, first change, London's Kings Cross. Take this time to make a few posts to the instagram page.
08:05: Arrive at Kings cross, time for a quick ciggie then on to the underground to Paddington.
08:15: Board the train to Paddington.
08:25: Arrive at Paddington, great as i want the 09:30 train to Bristol to meet a friend en route at Reading. Time for another ciggie and a walk around Paddington.
08:35: Had my ciggie and a walk, getting hungry again so bought a bagel with bacon and a 500ml bottle of coca cola for £7.26..!! Welcome to London.
09:15: Trains here and boarding, looking through the windows it seems every seat has been reserved. I spot a couple that don't have reserved tickets, dart in that carriage and claim the seats.
09:30: The train leaves bang on time, there's a change. I notice a guy running who didn't make it, a slight smirk appeared as i lay back in my chair and put on my headphones.
09:59: The train pulls into Reading. After telling my friend I was at the completely other end of the train than I actually was it took him a few minutes to find me.
11:00: We arrive in Bristol. First stop, Weatherspoons for some grub and a pint.
From here the drinking continued as we had a couple of hours to kill before we could check into our hotel. So with tinnies in hand we took a walk around The Bear Pit and surrounding streets. There is so much graffit all around this area it was amazing. Before i'd even gotten to Upfest i had already taken in excess of 200 photos.
That aside, we checked in and made our way over to Upfest to go get some shots of all the work going on there. It was a beautiful sunny day, the streets where full of families taking their youngsters out to see the artwork being produced. There were competitions, lives Dj's, bands and plenty of activitys for the little ens too.
The highlight of my weekend though has to off been the drinks with the writers after the day was over, although i didn't make it out to the small hours like most, i still had a great time. Till next year.
